Rahmi Ünal

Rahmi Ünal is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Gazi University since June 2013. He holds a B.Sc. (1991) and M.Sc. (1995) from Middle East Technical University (METU) and a Ph.D. (1999) from Clausthal University of Technology, Germany. His research focuses on Powder Metallurgy, Additive Manufacturing, and Materials Science, with expertise in metal powder production via gas/plasma atomization and PM Al-Mg-Sc alloys. He has advised 33 theses and contributed to 19 research projects, holding 4 intellectual properties. He also provides industrial consultancy in his research domains.
