معرفی
Rahel Heule is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen, Germany, since September 2017. Her research focuses on rapid quantitative magnetic resonance (MR) techniques, particularly those based on steady-state free precession (SSFP) sequences, with applications in tissue relaxometry. She earned her PhD in Biophysics (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) from the University of Basel in 2015 and holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Physics from the same institution.
- Education:
- PhD in Biophysics (MRI), University of Basel (2015)
- Master of Science in Physics, University of Basel (2010)
- Bachelor of Science in Physics, University of Basel (2008)
Her work emphasizes advancing MR imaging methodologies for faster and more accurate tissue characterization. She has received multiple accolades, including the Gorter Young Investigator Award for her dissertation and the Emilie-Louise-Frey-Preis for her Master's thesis. Rahel has also been recognized as a Distinguished Reviewer for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and received ISMRM Merit Awards for her contributions.
- Scientific Awards:
- Distinguished Reviewer of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (2017, 2019, 2022)
