Raghvendra Kumar Chaudhary

Raghvendra Kumar Chaudhary is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). He holds a PhD from IIT Kanpur (2014), an MTech from IIT (BHU) Varanasi (2009), and a BTech from UIET Kanpur (2007). Prior to joining IIT Kanpur, he served as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad (2013-2022).

His research specializes in reconfigurable antennas, metamaterial-based designs, MIMO systems, frequency-selective surfaces, circularly polarized antennas, dielectric resonator antennas, and mm-wave/THz components. Key areas include cognitive radio integration, 5G applications, and antenna miniaturization techniques for modern wireless systems.

His publications (2015-2022) demonstrate a consistent focus on advancing antenna technologies for wireless communication, with trends toward 5G integration, cognitive radio efficiency, metamaterial innovation, and compact MIMO designs. Recent work emphasizes performance optimization in communication systems and radar cross-section reduction.
