Dr Raghib Ali is an Honorary Consultant in Acute Medicine at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust and a Senior Clinical Research Associate at the MRC Epidemiology Unit, University of Cambridge. In 2022, he became Chief Medical Officer of Our Future Health and an Associate Fellow at Green Templeton College.
- Graduated from Cambridge University (2000) with the John Addenbrookes Prize for Medicine
- Postgraduate degrees in Epidemiology (London) and Public Health (Oxford)
- Clinical training in Acute Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology in Oxford (2009)
His research focuses on the aetiology and prevention of non-communicable diseases in understudied populations across the UK, India, and the Middle East. He has received prestigious awards including the John Addenbrookes Prize and Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (2013).
