Raghavan Chinnadurai

Raghavan Chinnadurai, PhD, serves as a faculty member at Mercer University School of Medicine with expertise in stem cell immunobiology and regenerative therapies. His research focuses on Mesenchymal Stem/Stromal Cells (MSCs) and their therapeutic applications.

Dr. Chinnadurai's research investigates the immunobiology of Mesenchymal Stem/Stromal Cells (MSCs), examining their roles in cancer progression and inflammatory disorders while developing novel cell-based regenerative therapies. His work bridges fundamental immunology with clinical applications in graft-versus-host disease and tissue repair.

As Principal Investigator for the WES-Leukemia Research Foundation grant on interferon gamma-primed MSCs for graft-versus-host disease mitigation, he leads translational research initiatives. His professional affiliations include the Atlanta Pediatrics Research Alliance and the International Society for Cell Therapy (ISCT).
