Dr. Raffaella Valsecchi is an Associate Professor in Organisational Behaviour at Brunel Business School, Brunel University London. She has previously held academic positions at Royal Holloway, University of London, and the University of Leicester, where she completed her PhD in the Sociology of Work. Her current roles include external examiner at Bayes Business School and Henley Business School.

Her research focuses on health and well-being at work, community well-being, social enterprises in social change, technology's impact on health organizations, and flexible working. She has explored these themes through multidisciplinary projects funded by the ESRC, British Academy/Leverhulme Trust, and Brunel University grants. Her work has been published in journals like Work, Employment and Society and Technological Forecasting and Social Change.
Recent publications highlight trends in workplace health innovation, telehealth systems, and SME management. She served on the Editorial Board of European Management Review and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her academic leadership roles include developing the MSc in Global Healthcare Management (2025) and supporting 30 early-stage impact case studies as a REF Impact Champion.
