Rafeef Ziadah is a Senior Lecturer in Politics and Public Policy (Emerging Economies) in the Department of International Development at King's College London's School of Global Affairs. She holds a PhD in Politics from York University, Canada. Her research focuses on political economy, infrastructures and logistics, gender and feminism, race and racialisation, with special emphasis on the Middle East and East Africa.
Her work examines colonial capitalism, refugee displacement, and military-commercial interventions in the Arabian Peninsula. Recent publications analyze pandemic impacts on development, surveillance technologies in the UAE, and pedagogical approaches to anti-colonial archives.
Ziadah co-edited 'Revolutionary Feminisms' (Verso, 2020) and contributes to research groups on Global Capitalism, Climate, and Social Justice. She supervises PhD students working on infrastructure politics and Middle East political economy.
