Rafał Fetner is a researcher affiliated with the Department of Bioarchaeology at the Faculty of Archaeology, University of Warsaw. His work spans bioarchaeology, anthropology, and archaeometry, focusing on human remains, funerary practices, and isotopic analysis.

Research Interests:
Bioarchaeology, including taphonomy of human remains in burial chambers, stable isotope analysis for dietary reconstruction, and paleodemographic studies of early medieval Slavic communities. His work extends to archaeometry and multidisciplinary approaches to funerary contexts.
Recent Publications:
Focus on isotopic insights into diets (e.g., Kalisz-Zawodzie, Qareh Tepe), funerary cave practices in Poland and the Near East, and human migration patterns. His 2025 studies include battlefield archaeology of the Polish-Swedish War and interdisciplinary analyses of burial mounds.
