Rafaella Elia is a Researcher at the University of Cyprus, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, affiliated with the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence. Since April 2025, she has been contributing to the GuardAI project, focusing on robust and secure AI systems for safety-critical applications. Her academic journey at the University of Cyprus included a Ph.D. in biomedical signal processing, machine learning, and wearable sensors (2024) and a B.Sc. (2017).
