Rafael Magro Andrade is a Professor and Director of the Vocational Training Institute at Camilo José Cela University (UCJC), holding roles since 2015. He also directs the MBA program at the Cela Open Institute. Previously, he served as Director of the Higher Polytechnic School (2005–2011) and School of Civil Engineering (2004–2005) at Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio. His academic career includes teaching Physics, Engineering, and Environmental subjects at multiple institutions since 1998.
Education: Civil Engineer (1977, Polytechnic University of Madrid), Doctor of Civil Engineering (1989, UPM with Cum Laude distinction), ACAP accreditation (2011), and Master's in Secondary Education (2017).
Research focuses on Environmental Engineering, particularly Air Quality, Noise Pollution, Acoustic Screens, and technology integration in technical education. Teaching roles include courses in Physics, Mechanics, Environmental Management, and Logistics at UCJC's Transportation and Entrepreneurship programs. He also coordinates online environmental management training for government personnel and participates in EU-funded research projects.
