Rafael Castillo Romero

Dr. Rafael Castillo Romero is an Assistant Professor and Deputy Director of the Department of Organic and Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Alcalá. His research group, 'Design, interaction and synthesis of bioactive compounds,' focuses on molecular modeling, drug design, and natural product characterization for therapeutic applications.

Research Interests: His work spans medicinal chemistry, metallodrug synthesis, G-quadruplex DNA targeting, and nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems. Key areas include:
