Radin Dardashti

Radin Dardashti is a philosopher of science currently affiliated with the University of Wuppertal and the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy as an external member. He previously held positions at the Leibniz University Hannover and Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich.

His research focuses on scientific methodology, particularly how physicists reason about theory development and assessment in fundamental physics. He is involved in interdisciplinary projects such as "The Epistemology of the LHC" and "Transformations in Science and Technology since 1800", with a sub-project on naturalness in particle physics.

Current Roles:

• Principal Investigator (PI) in the interdisciplinary research training group on "Transformations in Science and Technology since 1800"
• Deputy spokesperson of the "Philosophy of Physics" working group of the German Physical Society
• Member of the Junge Akademie at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities
