Radhika Gajjala is a Professor of Media and Communication and American Culture Studies at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) within the College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh (1998) and has held prestigious Fulbright roles: Professor of Digital Culture at the University of Bergen (2015-2016) and Senior Scholar at Soegijapranata Catholic University (2012). Her research focuses on globalization, digital labor, feminism, and social justice, with notable works including Digital Diasporas (2019) and Online Philanthropy (2017).
Her teaching spans global media studies, gender and technology, and critical research methods. She co-edits the Fembot Collective, promoting digital publishing and podcasting through the Manifold platform. Key research interests include transnational feminist media activism, digital diasporas, and the intersection of technology with marginalized communities.
