Rachid Hourizi is a Professor and Director of the Institute of Coding (IoC) at the University of Bath, Department of Computer Science. He plays a leading role in national digital skills education and university-industry collaboration. He is affiliated with the Centre for Networks and Collective Behaviour and the Centre for Death and Society.
His research interests span Human-Computer Interaction, collaborative systems, situation awareness, and autonomous systems, with applications in defence, emergency response, aviation, agriculture, and smart energy.
