Rachelle Meyer Rogers is a Clinical Professor at Baylor University's School of Education, Department of Curriculum & Instruction. She directs master's programs (MSEd, MA, MAT, MDIV/MSEd/MA) and supervises candidates in teaching associate and resident field experiences. She teaches middle and secondary school mathematics methods courses and graduate-level classes such as Numerical Understanding and Effective Classroom Management.
Dr. Rogers' research focuses on teacher education, particularly clinical experiences and teacher preparation, and mathematics education, emphasizing lesson study as a professional learning model. Her recent work explores opportunity gaps, school-university partnerships, and preservice teacher development.
She has led significant initiatives in teacher education, including serving as 2022–2023 President of the Association of Teacher Educators (ATE), where she launched the ATE Inquiry Initiative and Commission on Teacher Educator Standards. Her leadership also includes two terms as president of the Central Texas Council of Teachers of Mathematics (CTCTM) and editorial work for the Texas Mathematics Teacher Journal.
