Rachelle Durand, DO is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She specializes in Pediatric Radiology and Pediatric Interventional Radiology, with a focus on vascular anomalies and gastrostomy tube placement optimization. Dr. Durand earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at Wayne State University, where she was recognized with the 2017 Radiology Resident of the Year award. She further specialized through fellowships in Pediatric Radiology and Pediatric Interventional Radiology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Her research spans vascular anomalies therapy, neonatal PICC mechanics, and metastatic thyroid ablation. She joined UCSF in 2020 and is affiliated with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in Mission Bay and Oakland.
