Rachel Yuen-Collingridge

Dr Rachel Yuen-Collingridge is an Associate Lecturer in the Department of History and Archaeology at Macquarie University, affiliated with the School of Humanities and the Data Horizons Research Centre. She holds a PhD in Historical Lexicology from Macquarie University (2013) and has held postdoctoral fellowships on major ARC-funded projects studying ancient Egyptian papyri and forgery detection.

Research Interests:

• Cultural heritage ethics and provenance
• Scribal practices in Graeco-Roman Egypt
• Forgery analysis and authenticity markers
• Cognitive approaches to historical memory
• Magical papyri and religious systems

• 2023 Faculty of Arts Teaching Excellence Award
• Pioneers interdisciplinary 'Markers of Authenticity' seminar series
• Developed ethics framework for ancient studies
