Rachel Shinnar

Rachel Shinnar, PhD, is a Professor in the Department of Management at Western Carolina University. She holds a Ph.D. and M.S. from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and a B.A. from Tel Aviv University. Her research focuses on entrepreneurial intentions, minority and female entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education, and career mobility for Hispanic immigrants. She teaches courses including Systems Thinking & Global Awareness, Introduction to Organizational Behavior, and International Human Resource Management.

Dr. Shinnar's research explores topics such as entrepreneurial passion, gender perceptions in entrepreneurship, religiosity's role in business ethics, and immigrant business strategies in emerging economies.
