Associate Professor Rachel Robertson holds a position at Curtin University's School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry within the Faculty of Humanities. She earned a BA (Hons) from UWA (1984), an MPhil in Women's Studies (UWA, 1994), and a PhD from Curtin University (2011). Her work bridges creative writing, critical disability studies, and maternal ethics. Robertson's memoir Reaching One Thousand (2012) explores autism, motherhood, and neurodivergent caregiving, while her edited volumes include 25 for 25 (2023) and Where the Ink Falls (2022). She coordinates the Curtin/University of Aberdeen Alliance's Creative Arts program and advises on interdisciplinary projects.
