Rachel McIlree

Rachel McIlree is a Teaching Fellow in Counselling at the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, contributing to academic instruction and research in mental health therapies.

Her educational background includes:

• MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from University of Strathclyde (awarded 2009)
• PgCert in Alcohol and Drug Studies from University of West of Scotland (awarded 2003)

Her research focuses on mechanisms of psychological therapies for severe depression, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mixed methods approaches.
