Rachel Laadi Sulla

Rachel Laadi Sulla is a Researcher at the School of Public Health, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana and an International Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania's Center for Global Health.

Her research focuses on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health, Infectious Disease, Mental Health, and Non-communicable Disease. With extensive experience in Ghana's healthcare settings, she led a breast cancer screening initiative for 200 women in the Bono region in 2022. Currently, she contributes to the Severe Typhoid in Africa (SETA) plus study, a multi-country investigation into typhoid's epidemiological and economic impact to inform vaccine policy. She applies implementation science to improve non-communicable disease outcomes in low-resource settings through her work at the KNUST-IVI Collaborative Center.

Rachel is proficient in English (native), Twi (native), and Kusaal (proficient), enabling effective community engagement across diverse Ghanaian populations. Her global health projects emphasize practical interventions for infectious disease control and non-communicable disease management in sub-Saharan Africa.
