Rachel Kincaid

Rachel Kincaid is an Associate Professor of Law at Baylor Law School, focusing on criminal justice reform and civil rights litigation. She joined the faculty in 2021 after prosecuting federal civil rights cases at the U.S. Department of Justice and advocating for incarcerated populations through Mountain State Justice.

Her scholarship analyzes structural issues in policing and incarceration systems, published in journals including the Tulane Law Review and University of Richmond Law Review. Education includes a J.D. (University of Virginia), music degrees from Eastman and RNCM, and ethnomusicology training at Cardiff University as a Marshall Scholar.
