Rachel Fishberg is a Research Fellow at Aarhus University's Department of Political Science, affiliated with the Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy. She holds a PhD in the sociology of science, specializing in Science and Technology Studies (STS) and feminist perspectives. Her research examines how research policies operate across global, national, and institutional levels, shaping knowledge production and academic collaboration in evolving scholarly environments.
Her work emphasizes the politics of global knowledge systems, research funding mechanisms, governance in higher education, transnational interdisciplinary partnerships, and research integrity frameworks. Recent projects include RE4GREEN (Research Ethics for the GREEN transition, 2024–2027), ETHOS (Research Integrity in 'Houses of Science', 2022–2025), and COUPLING (Organisational dynamics in higher education, 2021–2025).
