Rachel Edwards is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Natural Science at Oregon Institute of Technology. She holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities (2021) and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University (2012). Her research focuses on biomaterials, microfluidic devices, and tissue engineering to study cancer progression and stem cell niches. She teaches courses in biomedical devices, general chemistry, and research projects.
