Dr. Rachel Churm is a Senior Lecturer in Sports and Exercise Sciences at Swansea University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Her research bridges molecular genetics, biochemistry, and clinical applications, focusing on the interplay between hormone regulation, immune function, and glucose homeostasis in obesity-related diseases. She collaborates closely with Swansea University School of Medicine's Diabetes Research Group and external partners like the NHS and Ospreys in the Community.
