Rachel Brummel is an Associate Professor of Environmental Studies and Program Director at Luther College. She holds affiliations with both the Environmental Studies program and the Political Science Department. Her academic background includes a PhD in Conservation Biology with a focus on Social Science & Policy from the University of Minnesota (2010) and a B.A. in Biology and Environmental Studies from Grinnell College (2003).
Dr. Brummel’s research examines political and community-level responses to transboundary environmental challenges.
