Rachael Tindal is a researcher affiliated with the Robinson Research Institute under the Adelaide Medical School at the University of Adelaide. She is part of the Critical and Ethical Mental Health (CEMH) group, which focuses on critical appraisal, meta-research, teaching, and advocacy to advance safer and ethical mental health practices. Her current projects include The Social Prescription (prioritizing community engagement in clinical care), Work and Unemployment: Vital to Suicide Prevention (funded by the MRFF Million Minds Grant), and contributions to the Human Rights and Mental Health blog.
Previously, her PhD in applied mathematics involved mathematical modeling of anthocyanin compounds in fruits, flowers, and red wines. She holds a background in mathematical sciences and collaborates on interdisciplinary projects bridging quantitative methods with mental health advocacy.
