Rabah Aissaoui

Rabah Aissaoui is an Associate Professor in the School of Arts at the University of Leicester, currently serving as Deputy Head of School and former Head of the School of Modern Languages (2013-2015). His research focuses on immigration, racism, and cultural belonging in colonial and postcolonial France, alongside the political, social, and cultural history of Algeria. He has organized conferences such as 'Algeria Revisited: Contested Identities' (2012) and collaborated on projects like a BA-funded study on Turkey's representation in European media.
