Dr. RaJade M. Berry-James serves as Senior Associate Dean of Faculty and Academic Affairs and Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University's L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Rutgers University-Newark, an MPA from Kean University, and a B.S. in Business Administration from Rider University. Her expertise spans social equity, research methods, program evaluation, and accreditation.
Berry-James has designed award-winning courses including 'MPA Capstone' and 'Cultural Competence in the Public Sector.' Her research focuses on evidence-based policymaking and decision-making frameworks, particularly in diversity, equity and inclusion contexts. She has led evaluations for major organizations including the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

- President-Elect of NASPAA (2023-2024 term)
- Two-time chair of NASPAA's Commission on Peer Review and Accreditation
