Rukiye Didem Taylan is a Professor and Department Chair at MEF University's Faculty of Education, Department of Elementary Mathematics Teaching, since 2014. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from the University of Missouri (2013), an M.S. from Teachers’ College, Columbia University (2009), and a B.S. from Boğaziçi University (2007). Her research focuses on mathematics teacher education, teacher noticing skills, classroom teaching practices, and mathematics anxiety, with a strong emphasis on professional development and teacher learning.
