Didem Sağlam is an Instructor at MEF University's Faculty of Arts Design and Architecture since 2019, specializing in Architectural Design studios and Visual Communication courses. She graduated from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) with a B.Sc. (2009) and M.Sc. (2013) in Architecture, completing her master's dissertation titled "Actualisation: How to Actuate Architecture." Currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Architectural Design at ITU, she has participated in international design competitions and exhibitions, including the "Vitra Çağdaş Mimarlık Dizisi, Mutluluk Fabrikaları" showcase.

She emphasizes the importance of non-hierarchical learning spaces that foster simultaneous teaching and knowledge sharing, as reflected in her involvement with studio-based pedagogy and projects like the Hangar structure for Pamukkale University Faculty of Architecture and Design Competition.
She has received recognition through awards such as the Purchase Prize and collaborated on architectural competitions with professionals like Tutku Sevinç and Beril Sezen. Her work explores the intersection of physical and intellectual production in architecture, advocating for flexible spaces that evolve with users' needs.
