R. Scott Moore serves as a Distinguished University Professor and Chairperson in the History, Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania's College of Arts, Humanities, Media, and Public Affairs. His office is located in 304-P Leonard Hall where he maintains regular office hours for students.
Professor Moore's research focuses on trade and communication in the Eastern Mediterranean from the second through the eighth centuries AD, with particular emphasis on the identification and analysis of Roman and Late Roman Ceramics. His work bridges classical archaeology, ancient history, and digital methodologies.
