R. Harms is a Professor in the Entrepreneurship & Technology Management section at the Faculty of Behavioural, Management and Social Sciences (BMS) at University Twente. His research focuses on addressing challenges faced by technology entrepreneurs in environments marked by market and technological uncertainty, with a particular emphasis on complexity and dynamics in new venture creation processes.

- Habilitation in Business Administration from AAU Klagenfurt
His teaching includes chairing the Smart Industry Research Orientation and the EIT Entrepreneurship Minor, while actively collaborating with NovelT. His academic expertise spans economics, technology management, and social sciences.
