R. Frank Kooy is a Full Professor in Cognitive Genetics at the University of Antwerp, Belgium, holding this position since 2017. Previously, he served as Professor (2014-2017), Associate Professor (2001-2014), and Assistant Professor (1997-2001) in the same field at the same institution. He has also held postdoctoral positions in Human Genetics at the University of Groningen (1991-1994) and University of Utrecht (1995-1997). As chair of Cognitive Genetics and promotor of GENOMED center of excellence, he leads research into the genetic basis of cognitive disorders.
