Rémi Eyraud is an Associate Professor at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) of Saint-Etienne, affiliated with University Jean Monnet since December 2020. Previously, he held the same position at Aix-Marseille University from 2007 to 2020. He is a member of the Hubert Curien Laboratory and part of the Inria MALICE team, which bridges Machine Learning and Physics. His academic journey includes a Habilitation à diriger des Recherches (HDR) defended in 2019, with a focus on understanding deep learning mechanisms through formal language theory and interpretability research.
