Quinn Cheng

Quinn Cheng is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), affiliated with the School of Medicine and Department of Medicine. He joined UCSF in 1996 after completing medical school and residency there. His clinical focus includes perioperative medicine, surgical patient care, and medical consultation services. He pioneered the Comanagement with Neurosurgery Service and developed an inpatient E-Consult program to enhance patient care coordination. Dr. Cheng also leads the hospital medicine consultation service at Mission Bay campus.

His educational contributions include directing the annual Advances in Internal Medicine CME course and developing teaching materials on perioperative medicine.
