استاد · Charge Transport in Mesoscopic Electrochemical Systems
National University of Singaporeمعرفی
Qing Wang is a Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He earned his PhD in Physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2002, and held postdoctoral positions at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). His research explores charge transport in mesoscopic electrochemical systems, with a focus on redox-targeting reactions for advanced energy conversion and storage technologies.
His team develops novel redox flow X-batteries targeting large-scale energy storage, along with applications in on-demand hydrogen production, metal-air power generation, battery recycling, and chemical synthesis. Recent work includes innovations in aqueous redox flow batteries and integrated power-cooling systems for electronics.
- 2014: NUS Engineering Young Researcher Award
- 2018: NRF Investigatorship
- 2021: NUS Dean’s Chair Associate Professor
Publications demonstrate expertise in Zn-based flow batteries, Fe-Air fuel cells, and redox-mediated recycling, with a consistent emphasis on sustainable technologies. The lab actively collaborates on translational studies to bridge fundamental research with practical deployment.
