Qiang Wu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, University of Oxford. He holds a BEng and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China. His current research focuses on micro/nanoparticle synthesis for biomedical applications, novel technologies for bacterial infection characterization, and integrated diagnostic systems combining optical imaging, B-mode imaging, and acoustic emissions analysis.
- Education:
- BEng in Mechanical Engineering, University of Science and Technology of China
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering, University of Science and Technology of China
- Research Groups: BUBBL Group (Biomedical Ultrasound and Bubbles Laboratory), Drug & Vaccine Delivery Theme
His work includes developing acoustically responsive nanodroplets for targeted drug delivery and advancing multimodal imaging setups to correlate ultra-high-speed imaging with passive acoustic mapping. These innovations aim to enhance precision in osteogenic drug delivery and accelerate point-of-care diagnostics.
