Qiang Wu is a Professor in the Department of Public Health at East Carolina University. He holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Pittsburgh (2007) and previously served as an assistant professor in ECU's Department of Biostatistics for 15 years. His research focuses on statistical methodology and its applications in health-related fields.

Research Interests: Statistical methodology including permutation inference for regression models, Kullback-Leibler risk, parameter-free estimation, mixture models, and model-based clustering. Collaborative research spans dental care disparities, HPV cancer prevention, nutrition interventions, and general health studies.
Teaching: Courses include BIOS 7022 and BIOS 7550, focusing on biostatistics methods.
