Dr Qi Zhou is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Leeds, School of Law, within the Faculty of Social Sciences. He holds a qualified attorney status in China and previously served as a lecturer at the University of Sheffield. His expertise spans contract law, regulation, and law and economics, with a focus on analyzing regulatory features of legal instruments.
Dr Zhou earned his legal education from the Chinese University of Politics, the University of Bournemouth, and the University of Manchester. He currently serves as Programme Manager for the LLM in Business Law Suite and is affiliated with the Centre for Business Law and Practice.
His research emphasizes the intersection of law and economics, exploring regulatory frameworks and contractual dynamics. Key themes include the efficacy of legal instruments in addressing modern regulatory challenges and the application of economic principles to legal systems.
