Qasim Ahmed is a Professor in the Department of Engineering at the University of Huddersfield, UK. He holds affiliations with the School of Computing and Engineering and the Centre for Efficiency and Performance Engineering. His academic journey includes a BEng from NUST (Pakistan), MSc from USC (USA), and PhD from the University of Southampton (UK). He has held roles at NUCES (Pakistan), KAUST (Saudi Arabia), and the University of Kent before joining Huddersfield in 2017.
His research focuses on wireless communications, millimeter wave systems, ultra-wideband (UWB) technologies, and 5G/6G networks.
