QIAO Dandan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics at the National University of Singapore (NUS), School of Computing. She holds a PhD from Tsinghua University and a visiting scholar appointment at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research focuses on digital platforms, computational social science, and the economics of dark web transactions. Notable contributions include analyzing darknet market dynamics, the impact of financial incentives on online reviews, and ride-hailing services' societal effects.
