LI Xiaofan

LI Xiaofan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS). He holds a PhD in Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin and dual B.S. degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Tsinghua University.

Research Focus: His work explores strategic interactions in cybersecurity and cryptocurrency, with emphasis on blockchain ecosystems (private vs public blockchains), ICO impacts on finance/marketing, and cryptocurrency-cybercrime linkages. Current projects investigate Web 2.0/3.0 platform dynamics and FinTech innovation.

Teaching: Courses include IS4228 (Financial Services Technologies) and IS4302 (Blockchain/Distributed Ledgers). His publications analyze fake data in machine learning and cryptocurrency systematics.

Labs/Teams: Engaged with NUS Computing research groups focusing on information systems and cybersecurity innovation.
