Pär Engsheden is a program manager for the fashion program and Lecturer in Fashion Design at Beckmans School of Design. He graduated from the same institution in 1991 and has been a guest teacher and supervisor there since 1994. His expertise lies in haute couture, precision tailoring, and classical elegance. He is a Royal Court Supplier and has received prestigious awards, including the Royal Medal Illis Quorum (2013) and Stockholm Master Tailor Guild Membership. His research explores couture’s role in contemporary contexts, exemplified by his exhibition at the National Museum (2020) featuring dresses designed for Sara Danius of the Swedish Academy.
