Páll Karlsson

Páll Karlsson is an Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University, specializing in neuropathic pain, diabetic neuropathy, and nerve fiber pathology. His research focuses on clinical applications in pain management and diabetes-related neurological complications.

His work includes longitudinal studies on heat sensation anomalies, cohort analyses of Parkinson’s disease, and consensus guidelines for neuropathic pain research. He actively participates in international collaborations and clinical trial design.
