Pál Varga

Dr. Pál Varga is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Telecommunications and Media Informatics (TMIT) at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), School of Electrical Engineering. His roles include serving as a VT member, TTF member, and Corporate and Partnership Manager. He teaches courses in IoT frameworks, network security, and high-speed mobile telecommunications.

His research focuses on

• Internet of Things (IoT) interoperability
• 5G industrial network integration
• FPGA-based cybersecurity solutions
• Network infrastructure design
• Arrowhead Framework applications

He has supervised numerous MSc/BSc theses on topics like DDoS mitigation, IoT lifecycle modeling, and cloud security.
