Nemes Rita

Dr. Nemes Rita is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, specializing in construction materials and lightweight concrete technologies. She teaches courses including Building Materials 1, Building Materials 2, and Building Materials 3, focusing on advanced material properties and applications.

Her research centers on the durability and performance of lightweight aggregate concretes under extreme conditions such as fire, freeze-thaw cycles, and mechanical stress. Key areas include residual compressive strength after thermal exposure, abrasion resistance, and bonding behavior of steel reinforcement in specialized concrete composites.
