Purushottam Dixit is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Yale University, specializing in computational systems biology and biophysics. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
His research focuses on integrating machine learning and statistical physics to analyze high-dimensional biological data, particularly inspired by the principle of maximum entropy.
