Pui Him Ip

Pui Him Ip is Assistant Professor and Director of Tutorial Programmes at The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion, Affiliated Lecturer in the Faculty of Divinity, and Research Associate at St Edmund's College, University of Cambridge.

His research examines early Christian thought with specializations in Origen of Alexandria, patristic philosophy, scriptural hermeneutics, and the intersection of natural philosophy with theology during Late Antiquity. He investigates how early Christians integrated physics (natural philosophy) with spiritual formation through exegetical traditions.

Ip's scholarship reconstructs historical theological developments while engaging with contemporary theological debates. His work consistently bridges patristic theology with modern discussions in science and religion.
