Prue Magistrado is an Associate Research Fellow at Deakin University, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Education and the Alfred Deakin Institute (formally known as the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation). She works on the UBUNTU Youth Empowerment Project and is based at the Melbourne Burwood Campus (221 Burwood Highway, Burwood, Victoria 3125).
Her research focuses on interdisciplinary areas related to societal structures and development, including:
- Youth Empowerment: Initiatives supporting youth engagement and development.
- Citizenship: Studies on civic participation and identity.
- Globalisation: Impacts of global interconnectedness on communities.
- Education: Educational frameworks within sociopolitical contexts.
